Our instructor's focus is a friendly, positive, player involvement in the learning process. The instructors reinforce the concepts behind the techniques by discussing and quizzing the players in a group setting to supplement the drills. When the player develops an understanding of how, when and why a technique is done, it is easier for them to remember and do.
However on rare occasion a player may use this down time to disrupt the class and the learning process. If a player continues to be unduly disruptive after a verbal warning and subsequent penalty, they will be asked to leave the ice.
